Josie Chase, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., (Mandan-Hidatsa/Hunkpapa Yanktonai) is owner of Horse Nation Healing and Director of Northern Lights Consulting. She has practiced social work since 1978 and has extensive experience in the child welfare and mental health arenas. She grew up on a working ranch in western North Dakota and understands the value of the horse in helping people heal.

Josie raises registered Paint horses, is a member of AQHA, APHA, and is EAGALA Level I certified for EAP. She is a PhD candidate at Smith College, MA.
