Klara
Parks RN, BSN, Reiki Master, EGALA Level II Certified, Equine Sports
Therapy Certified: Klara has been a registered nurse for
the past 30 years with a keen interest in alternative, wholistic
health therapies. She is the owner of CoDreLea Farm where she has
lived with and raised horses for the past ten years. She achieved
her Reiki Master Level in May 2003. She does massage and Reiki for
horses, dogs and cats. She has volunteered for Suncatcher Therapeutic
Riding Academy, and is a member of NAHRA (National Association for
Handicapped Riding of America) and EFMHA (Equine Facilitated Mental
Health Association). She specializes in equine facilitated mental
health, and is part of a core group in the Paha Sapa EAP Network
in our region. CoDreLea Farm contracts with various mental health
therapists to provide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine
Assisted Learning (EAL) activities. Klara is a member of AQHA (American
Quarter Horse Association), APHA (American Paint Horse Association),
BHAHA (Black Hills Arabian Horse Association), & has associate
membership in IALHA (International Andalulsina and Lusitano Horse
Association). She is also a member of EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth
and Learning Association) certified as a Level II practitioner.
She has attended three educational workshops through the EPONA Center
in Apache Springs, AZ learning the EPONA approach to equine therapy.
The EPONA Approach was deveolped by Linda Kohonov, noted author
of The Tao of Equus, Riding Between the Worlds, and Way of the Horse(with
card deck). Klara ia also a member of the Wholistic Health Society
of the Black Hills that is made up of health care practitioners
and businesses in the region dedicated to natural health and healing. |
